February 25 @ 6:15 am - 9:30 am EST$0.00
Type: Outdoor Photo Workshop
The Cool Things You will See, Do, and Learn: Learn how to get beautiful photographs of the beach, from serene ocean views to stunning sunrises. Capturing sun, sand, and sea in one exposure can be a real challenge, as well as providing a tough environment for your camera gear.
On this workshop we will be in position for some of the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets on Florida’s west coast. There are miles of white sand beaches with elements like waves, driftwood, sea oats, and dunes to work into your compositions. Our instructors will help you tackle this tough environment, giving you tips and tricks to get great exposures and discover compositions unique to these coastal locations.
This Workshop with David Guy Maynard is brought to you by: Tamron and Peak Design.
Activity Level: Moderate. Walking in sand to get best angles.
Things to Know: There is a $5 per vehicle park entrance fee, which can be paid by cash or credit. There are also 2 nominal tolls on the way into the park so we suggest having change or a Sunpass handy. Due to the fees, we recommend carpooling for this location.
What to Bring: Wide angle to Telephoto lenses, generally we bring a 16mm-35mm lens, a 24-75, and a 70-200. However, feel free to bring whatever you have to experiment with. Tripods are recommended. Sunscreen and bug repellent are also recommended. Wear comfortable walking shoes you don’t mind getting sandy or wet.
